Ingredients of Puran Poli
To make the mixture:
1 cup washed gram dal
3 cups water
1 cup sugar
1 tsp cardamom powder
Nutmeg , Grate
To make the Dow:
2 cups maida
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp ghee
1 water

Puran Poli Recipe:

To make a mixture of dal:
– Wash the gram dal and put it in the cooker, add water and cook it till 3 to 4 whistles. Now remove the dal water and grind it.

– Turn this dal into a cooker and add sugar to it and mix well. Cook on a low flame.

– Add ground cardamom and grated nutmeg and mix. Let this mixture cool.
Knead the dough to make the puran poli. Add flour, salt and ghee to a large container and mix. Add a little water and knead the dough. Now cover the pot with a wet cloth and leave for 30 minutes.

Make puran poli. For this, roll the dough into bread.

Fill the prepared mixture in this roti and roll it back into the circle. Offer the pan on gas. When the frying pan is hot, add puran poli on it and add ghee on both sides and bake well.

Collect ready puran poli. Add ghee and serve.
